October is ADHD Awareness Month – an international movement to educate the public and create greater awareness and understanding about attention deficit disorder.
Join me to help spread the word about ADHD!
The ADHD Awareness Month Coalition has created a calendar listing 31 ways to spread the word. Each day this month I am posting one of these ideas – see below for today’s suggestion.
I urge you to take just a few minutes today – and any other day this month you are able – to spread the word.
DAY 3 AWARENESS ACTIVITY
Call or visit your local library, or school library, and encourage staff to set up a display of books about ADHD this month. If you have any ADHD books you are no longer using, consider donating them to the display!
Yes – It’s that easy to take a step to increase ADHD Awareness!
BTW… On the topic of books about ADHD, wondering about titles you might add to your own library?

- Here’s a new book, published just in time for ADHD Awareness Month (note – I contributed several tips to this resource): Inspirational Ways to Succeed with ADHD
Thanks for all you do today, this month, and any time, to support ADHD awareness!
